The footer appears at the bottom of every page, providing navigation, contact information, and trust elements.

  1. Open the theme editor
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the left sidebar
  3. Click on Footer (in the Footer group)

Build your footer using blocks:

Add menu links organized in columns:

  • Link to important pages
  • Group related links together
  • Use clear, descriptive labels

Newsletter Signup

Collect email addresses for marketing:

  • Heading text
  • Description
  • Email input field
  • Submit button

Link to your social media profiles:

  • Configure in Shopify Admin → Online Store → Preferences
  • Icons appear automatically for configured platforms

Logo Block

Display your store logo in the footer:

  • Optional secondary logo
  • Adjustable size

Text Blocks

Add custom text content:

  • Store description
  • Contact information
  • Policies summary
  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Navigation
  2. Click Add menu if no footer menu exists
  3. Name it “Footer” or similar
  4. Add links to important pages:
    • About Us
    • Contact
    • Shipping Policy
    • Return Policy
    • Privacy Policy
    • Terms of Service

  1. Add Newsletter block to Footer
  2. Customize heading and description

  • Keep the form simple (email only)
  • Offer an incentive (discount, exclusive content)
  • Set clear expectations for email frequency
